Working on a new project weeee!!
I'm... not sure still how far I'll take this one, but I want it to be far. The idea's important to me, even if it's not all uh... serious.
What I did
Prototyped the movement and collissions. This game'll focus on momentum of the character spinning to move around, and incentivise speed through lack of control. What I got currently's not perfect, but I think it's a good start.
I also took a bit to make procedural clouds for the background. They're not... too nice yet but it was a fun diversion.
What I'll do
Build a level proper!! Even if it's just a borrowed tileset and a microscopic level, I want to get the feel of a level done so I can spend more time playing with what those levels can be and how they feel. I already have the needed sequence of events for the level down, thankfully.
